The best thing about Great Wolf Lodge
is that you can get two FULL days of fun for the price
of one! You're able to use the water park and other attractions
starting at 1:00p.m. the day you check in, and you can
stick around to swim and play until 10:00 p.m. on the
day you check out! WHAT A DEAL!

The kids flipped as soon as they saw the
water park with giant 'tube' waterslides. The main attraction
is the tree fort complete with several large 'squirt guns'
and a giant bucket that dumps 1,000 gallons of water down
a 30 foot 'waterfall'! As soon as the |
|
bell begins to ring (meaning
the big splash is coming) all the kids run for it to get
doused. The fort also has a couple of pretty fast waterslides
that are great for kids and grown-ups!
Smaller kids and toddlers can play for hours in the 'kiddie'
pool which has several small slides and some fountains.
There are also two waterslides for little ones in a separate
two foot deep pool.
Another pool has several basketball nets and some floating
toys for the kids to play on. When the excitement gets
to be too much, float down the 'lazy river' on a tube,
or relax in one of the giant whirlpools! |
All that fun is sure to get you hungry, and the Great
Wolf Lodge has you covered there too. Enjoy great food
and service in the relaxed atmosphere of the Gitchigoomie
Grill or a family style meal at the Lumberjack's Cook
Shanty. |

We went during the Christmas season, and the entire
lobby was decked out in Christmas lights, giant snowflakes
and a 30 foot tall Christmas tree. The kids even got to
Meet Santa!
If you go, we'd definitely recommend one of the "Kid
Cabin" rooms. These feature a log cabin inside the room
complete with bunk beds, a TV, and Nintendo.
|
|
The kids can enjoy that 'camping out' feeling
while mom and dad relax in the other room.
There are also Great Wolf Lodges in Michigan, Wisconsin,
Pennsylvania, and many other locations in the U.S. and
Canada. The Great Wolf Lodge is a great place for a family
getaway! |
