Kooker Cookies!
Stuff you need:
-
Your favorite sugar cookie recipe.
-
Food coloring
-
4 or 5 small bowls
|
|
What to do: |
1. |
Mix the dough following your favorite sugar cookie recipe. |
|
2. |
Split the dough into 4 or 5 (approximately)
equal parts, and place it into separate bowls. |
|
3. |
Add food coloring to each bowl to create the kooker-colors
which are: blue, purple, yellow, green and orange. (If
you've split the dough 4 ways, pick the 4 kooker-colors you
like the most!)
If your food coloring does not provide instructions for mixking
colors, try this:
orange: 2 parts red, 3 parts yellow
purple: 2 parts red, 2 parts blue
green: 3 parts green, 2 parts yellow |
|
|
4. |
After you've mixed all of your colors, combine the dough
back together, mixing it just enough to create color swirls
throughout. Add enough flower to the dough to allow you
to roll it easily. If it is too sticky, try refrigerating
it for a few minutes or rolling it between pieces of waxed paper.
Roll the dough out about 1/4 inch thick. |
|
5. |
Cut out your cookies using any cookie cutter or a small
cup. Add flour to the cookie cutters to prevent sticking.
|
|
6. |
Bake per instructions, eat and enjoy. Like kids,
no two kooker cookies are ever exactly alike! |
